PDF to JPG under 100 KB or 200 KB

Turn a certificate, mark sheet or ID proof saved as PDF into a JPG under the KB limit a form asks for. Each page becomes its own JPG, and the PDF never leaves your device.

Size limit for each JPG

How to convert a PDF to JPG under 100 KB

  1. Tap Choose a PDF and pick the file.
  2. Choose the limit your form asks for: 100 KB, 200 KB or another one.
  3. For printed documents, tick Black and white: the text stays sharper at the same size.
  4. Tap Convert to JPG, then download each page.

When a form wants a JPG instead of a PDF

Many application, admission and scholarship portals only take images for documents such as certificates, mark sheets, caste or income certificates and ID proofs, often with a limit like 100 or 200 KB. If you received the document as a PDF, from DigiLocker or your school for example, convert the page you need here. Check the format and limit in the official notification or on the portal.

If a page doesn't fit or isn't readable

  • Black and white makes text pages much smaller.
  • Choose a larger limit if the portal allows it: 200 KB keeps small print readable.
  • For a long PDF, keep only the pages you need with merge and split PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The pages are drawn and compressed in your browser, and the file is never sent to dedigger or anyone else. dedigger only counts which limit was chosen.

What happens with a PDF of several pages?

Each page becomes its own JPG under the limit, and you download the ones you need.

Can I convert a PDF with a password?

No. Open it with the password, save a copy without it, and convert the copy.

Why is each JPG a little under the limit?

So it passes whether the portal counts a kilobyte as 1,000 or 1,024 bytes.

Going the other way? JPG to PDF turns photos into one PDF under 100, 200 or 500 KB, and Compress PDF makes a PDF itself smaller.
