How to

Use a 2026 calendar template

  1. Open a template from the results above and choose File > Make a copy. If it only opens for viewing, paste its link into our Google Drive link tool and use the "Make a copy" link.
  2. Check that it really is for 2026: 1 January 2026 is a Thursday. Some templates are last year's with a new title.
  3. Type your birthdays, holidays and deadlines into the days.
  4. To print from Google Sheets, choose File > Print, then Landscape and Fit to page, so each month fills one sheet of paper.

Is 2026 a leap year?

No. 2026 has 365 days and February has 28. The next leap year is 2028.

Do weeks start on Sunday or Monday?

It depends on the template: calendars from the US usually start on Sunday, and most others on Monday. The search shows both, so check the first column before you print.

Google Sheets or Google Docs?

Sheets is the easiest for calendars, because each day is already a cell. Docs is better for a single month with room for notes or pictures.
