Resize photo and signature for exam forms
Get your photo, signature, thumb impression or declaration to the exact KB and pixel size an application form asks for. Everything happens on your device: your image is never uploaded.
Common sizes
These are the sizes many bank and recruitment forms ask for, such as IBPS-style forms. Requirements change between exams and from year to year, so always check the official notification before you upload. Some exams, like SSC, now take your photo live during the application and only ask you to upload the signature.
| Document | Pixels | File size |
|---|---|---|
| Photo | 200 × 230 | 20–50 KB |
| Signature | 140 × 60 | 10–20 KB |
| Left thumb impression | 240 × 240 | 20–50 KB |
| Handwritten declaration | 800 × 400 | 50–100 KB |
How to get a good result
- Sign with black or blue ink on plain white paper, and photograph it in daylight without shadows.
- For the photo, use a plain light background and keep your face in the middle.
- Use the zoom and move sliders until the preview looks right, then download.
- The file is a JPG that fits both ways forms count kilobytes (1,000 or 1,024 bytes).
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. The resizing runs in your browser. Your image stays on your device and is never sent to dedigger or anyone else.
